Led by Prof. Dr. Radoslaw Miskiewicz of Luma Holding Ltd, we presented LuNa Smelter’s growing operations, our approach to responsible sourcing and traceability, as well as the strong sustainability credentials of the raw materials we process. An important part of our approach is maintaining a CO₂ footprint among the lowest in the industry.

Building on our existing supply of responsibly produced and traceable Rwandan tin to the U.S. market, we discussed opportunities to expand this trade and further strengthen cooperation in the development of secure, transparent and sustainable critical mineral supply chains.

We greatly appreciated the constructive exchange with Emily White and Gai A. Nyok, Economic & Commercial Attaché, alongside Maryia Vazmitsel, Ngaboyisonga Serge and Konrad Niewiadomski from the LuNa Smelter team.

The meeting provided another valuable opportunity to exchange perspectives on responsible sourcing, traceability and international cooperation. We look forward to building on this engagement and exploring further opportunities to strengthen sustainable mineral supply chains between Rwanda and the United States.
