Mining Forum Week on 09-13 December 2019
Hon Francis Gatare – CEO of RMB, Mr Robert Nowak – the Managing Director of LuNa Smelter Ltd, on 9 December 2019, joined the students of the University of Rwanda – School of Mining & Geology, to celebrate the Mining Forum Week.
The week between 9 to 13 December 2019, provided an opportunity for the students to reflect on mining operations in Rwanda and suggest solutions to the challenges affecting the sector.
The activities included a panel discussion involving different key players in the mining sector, from exploration to policy making – all with a view of sharing the experience of mining in Rwanda & around the world with students of Mining and Geology.
In addition, Mr Joseph Butera – Field Operations Manager of LuNa Smelter attended this first official discussion to celebrate Mining Forum Week.
