Minister of Trade and Industry visits LuNa Smelter
Hon Minister Mrs Soraya Hakuziyaremye, Minister of Trade & Industry together with Hon Francis Gatare, CEO of RMB visited the Smelter.
Hon Minister Mrs Soraya Hakuziyaremye, Minister of Trade & Industry together with Hon Francis Gatare, CEO of RMB visited the Smelter on 18 June 2019 together with the representatives of LuNa Smelter Ltd, toured the premises and were impressed by the progress in the field of the ongoing maintenance, construction and preparation for the 2nd phase of production scheduled in July 2019.
Our Guests were briefed on the current situation of the Smelter and on our future plans related to the integral development of Rwandan mining and metallurgy, which LuNa Smelter desires to have significant contribution to.
Hon Minister Mrs Soraya Hakuziyaremye was greatly impressed by the progress and proud of the step taken to make “Tin Made in Rwanda” a reality.
